Students: Let us know your plans for Fall 2020

The following was sent to students on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. Please note the content on these pages and files is no longer being updated and may be out of date.

On behalf of everyone at Boston University, we hope this message finds you, your family, and your loved ones healthy and safe. As you know, we are hard at work preparing our campuses and classrooms for the fall semester. We hope to see as many of you as possible on campus this fall, but we know that some of you may be unable to return to Boston or will choose to engage remotely through the Learn from Anywhere model.

We are interested in hearing what your current plans are for the fall – if you think you will be coming back to campus to attend classes in- person, or if remote learning seems more likely. We know that your plans may change between now and September, so this is not a binding or official choice; it will simply provide an initial set of information that we can use as we continue to work out the details of what classes, dining, housing, and student events will look like this fall.

Please take a few minutes to fill out this brief Student Questionnaire.

We ask that please submit your completed survey no later than Friday, July 10. We appreciate your quick response, as your answers will assist us in planning for the fall semester.

As always, I encourage you to review the information available on the Back2BU website and the Campus Life Guide to see the latest news about all we are doing to prepare the campus and courses for the fall.

Thank you, in advance, for taking time out to share your current plans, and best wishes for continued health and an enjoyable and productive rest of the summer.

Regards,
Kenneth Elmore
Associate Provost and Dean of Students
