The Unfinished Search for Common Ground: Dr. Howard Thurman’s Memoriam to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

On Saturday, April 4, 2020 at 2pm, Associate Provost and Dean of Students Kenn Elmore will host The Unfinished Search for Common Ground: Dr. Howard Thurman’s Memoriam to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.. Dean Elmore reflect on the passing of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (GRS’55, Hon.’59), which occurred 52 years ago on April 4th. He will read Howard Thurman’s Memorial Tribute to King and will play King’s favorite hymn, Deep River.

This event took place live on Zoom, but the archive is available to view on demand. On the live Zoom, participants will not be able to share video or sound to maintain the occasion.
