Things to do before leaving for winter break!

If you are leaving our cozy confines of Commonwealth Avenue for intersession, there are some key things to do before you depart.

Our residence halls (dormitory-style) close at 12 noon on Friday, December 22, 2017. Is your ride or flight not until after 12 noon on Friday? Don’t fret. You can wait in the George Sherman Union until 5pm. If you live in an apartment on-campus, you are free to stay throughout the break.

Residence halls reopen Friday, January 12, 2018 at 10am.

Before leaving your room for break, make sure you do the following:

• Throw out your trash (you don’t want it to smell up your room over break.)
• Make sure your faucets are turned off.
• Empty out your mailbox.
• If you are in a dorm, unplug all of your electronics. This include your MicroFridge.
• Don’t leave anything in your fridge. It will go bad over break because your MicroFridge will be unplugged.
• Do not forget anything you will need over break. We cannot get into your room and ship things to you.
• Don’t leave your Terrier Card or keys in your room. How are you going to get into your room when you return if you do?!
