Family and Friends Weekend is here!
This is the week of the infamous Friday the 13th! Werewolves will howl to the moon, vampires will resurrect from their coffins, and Jason will put on his notorious hockey mask.
Although we love our ghoulish guests, us Terriers have more important visitors arriving this weekend; our Family and our Friends.
From October 13th through the 15th, Boston University will host events all day for three days. While these activities will not be paranormal, they will be fun, informative, and a great opportunity to interact with our amazing faculty.
Some events include performances of Grease and Downtown, Dean’s receptions at each college, Inner Strength Gospel Choir’s mini concert, and much more! To view specific times and dates, and to sign up for receptions, visit the list of events.
Event schedules will also be available in the George Sherman Union. To learn more about what’s happening on and off campus, visit our information booth in front of the George Sherman Union this Friday from 11am-6pm, and Saturday from 10am-2pm. A university staff member will be able to answer any questions and give recommendations.
And as a last minute addition to the schedule, our office is hosting an Open House on Friday between 3-5pm! Stop by our office on the third floor of the GSU to meet our staff and enjoy some treats!
Now remember, this is Family and Friends weekend. So if no one from home is coming to Boston, don’t be a ghost! Reach out to a roommate, coworker, or classmate, and join in on the fun. If put your superstitions aside, I promise your weekend will be wicked!
