Free Flow Friday-End of the Semester-Coffee & Convo Celebration
Semester ends.
We talked to each other. We had conversation – civil, spirited, loving, funny, and beautiful – about ideas, moments, questions, and things important to our lives.
We disagreed and persuaded each other about pledges to America; Mark Z. s the man of the generation; leaks – in Louisiana and about government; Delaware; the creature deep in the Gulf; book burnings; a religious and community center in NYC; failed propositions; trumpet sounds at futbol games; vampires; the drinking age; conscription; education in need of a super person; whether sports makes us better; war; and happily, peace.
I’m away this Friday, but hope you’ll drop in for coffee and conversation with each other. A last cool out before the exams hit. Our clear conscience friends will be there with the coffee, cookies, and some end of the semester appreciation. I can’t be there. My contribution is enough old school jams for you to kick it:
