How Many Layers of Paint on that Rock? 1,717!

How can you not love a chewy, bubble gum center surrounded by a delicious, fruit-flavored, hard candy shell? Make friends with Anna Curby, winner of the guess how many layers of paint are on the rock contest. Anna’s guess of 1457 came closest to the number – 1,717 layers – without going over. Her prize: 1,717 Blow Pops.

The Rock is a rock located on Alpert Mall (BU Beach). Traditionally, BU student members of the campuses fraternities and sororities paint the Rock, however, it’s fair game for any student to paint.
