Dear Friend,

I am writing with an advisory regarding move-in weekend. On Saturday, the Boston area is anticipating extreme inclement weather. In addition, the area will experience traffic delays and road closures along several routes within the city of Boston.

If you planned to move in to your campus residence this Saturday, and change your mind to arrive either Friday or Sunday instead, University staff will be available to make your experience as smooth as possible.

The weather forecast looks calm for Sunday, just in time for our Terrier Tailgate at 4:30pm. I hope you are able to arrive in time to join us at this great University-wide event. If you do arrive on Sunday, I recommend arriving as early as possible – we have made arrangements to start check-in that day at 8am.

Please do not hesitate to contact my office (617-353-4126), Residence Life (617-353-4380), or Housing (617-353-3511).

Best wishes for a safe journey to campus. I look forward to seeing you this weekend. With best regards,

Sincerely,

Kenneth Elmore
