The democratization and infiltration of software into all aspects of our personal and professional lives has provided enormous benefits to people but their distribution has been inequitable. To improve that distribution, we need more perspectives in software creation. Experimenting with new pedagogical techniques will increase the accessibility of roles in the software industry to a more diverse population.
