Global Immersion Program
Each year, BU’s College of Communication (COM) welcomes a growing number of accomplished graduate students from all over the globe. Despite extraordinary GPAs, TOEFL/IELTS scores and years of coursework in English, many of these students struggle to adjust to the sometimes-subtle expectations and demands of English language-centric classrooms, internships, and employment in the United States.
After a successful pilot phase with a select incoming class, the Global Immersion Program was offered to all international students from COM during 2014-2018.
