Prior to joining CFA as Associate Dean of Academic Services and Enrollment, Ruthie Jean (CLA ’91 & SED ’95) was responsible for the management of all programs sponsored by the College of Engineering Office of Undergraduate Programs, in her role as Director of Undergraduate Programs. She was tasked with assessing the effectiveness of student programs and developing new programs as needed. Ruthie worked collaboratively with the College leadership team, faculty and the Undergraduate Programs staff to assure that academic advising programs provide the necessary level of student support.

In addition, she was responsible for counseling and recruitment procedures, publications (bulletin copy, websites, videos, etc.), management of the study abroad programs and the daily operations and functions of the Office and staff. With her 20 years of experience in the College of Engineering, Ruthie drew upon her relationships with previous alumni to pilot ENG Connect.
