Inclusive Classrooms for First-Gen Students

What assumptions do we make about the students in our classrooms, and how do those assumptions affect students’ experiences? What special considerations come into play for first-generation college students, or first gen/low income (FGLI) students? This presentation addresses these questions and others, and offers strategies for teaching to reach all the students in your classroom—regardless of their background.
