Academic Testing Center

Kenneth Lutchen, University Provost and Chief Academic Officer ad interim announced the creation of the Academic Testing Center (Pilot Program) in a message to the community in March 2024. The main function of the Academic Testing Center (ATC) is to serve student test takers (and subsequently support faculty) who have approved exam accommodations through Disability & Access Services (DAS). The ATC will provide a comfortable and quiet environment that is crucial to support student academic success by that considers their individual requirements.

The pilot phase of the ATC will begin on Monday, April 1, 2024, and will be available until further notice. 

The Academic Testing Center is located at 930 Commonwealth Avenue, West, Room 250.
The building entrance is on Pleasant Street, and is labeled “930 Commonwealth Avenue, West”. Take the elevator on the right side of the lobby to the second floor. Or you may use the staircase directly in front of you as you enter the lobby. 

Alternatively, you can enter from the Commonwealth Avenue entrance and follow the signs for the Occupational Health Center. When you arrive at the atrium where the Occupational Health Center is located, take the elevator or stairs to the second floor.

The Academic Testing Center’s hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 9 am – 5 pm. Note that the Academic Testing Center is closed weekends and most University holidays.

The Academic Testing Center is operated by professional staff from Disability & Access Services and the Dean of Students office, with assistance from graduate and undergraduate student workers.
