Scott Cromar

Scott Cromar is the author of “From Techie to Boss: Transitioning to Leadership,” a book to help technical people transition to management positions. He is currently a Senior Manager of Information Systems and Technology at Convergys, managing a globally dispersed team. Prior to that, he was a VP of Technology at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, tech lead for a major NYC-based hedge fund, and a Unix administrator for Princeton University. He earned a BS in Mathematics from BYU, and earned an MSCIS from Boston University with subconcentrations in IT Project Management and Information Security. He has facilitated MET CS 782 (IT Management and Strategy) and 783 (Enterprise Architecture) courses at BU, starting in January 2013.
