Mark Massengill has extensive background in all aspects of the development, delivery and maintenance of operational and data management systems. Currently, he is applying these skills in the areas chemical informatics related to computation toxicology and exposure. A background in IT development, implementation and project management, his strengths are communication, training, analysis and practical problem solving through a blending of best practices and new opportunities. A proven base of SDLC principles and practices in both enterprise and distributed architectures coupled with growing knowledge of how those can be applied to the changing landscape of health care, health informatics and chemical informatics. On-hands experience with data warehouse design and implementation to leverage corporate data stores to generate value-add data analytics for effective health care operations and decision support. He contributed at IBM, Blue Cross Blue Shield North Carolina, Citicorp, GE Consulting and North Carolina Department Health Human Services in the role of Program Manager, Project Manager, Manager of Development Processes and Methodologies and Senior Consultant. Currently he is a Application Data and Information Technology Manager for Jacobs Technology as a contractor to the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency supporting the Center for Computational Toxicology and Exposure (CCTE).
