Marcia M. Yates

Marcia has been in the high tech industry for 37 years, the last 17 of which were exclusively in biotech companies and research institutes, chiefly working with bioinformatics software relating to genetics. She has been a CTO, a CIO, and a software architect as well as a technical manager. A few of her her recent positions include: Director of Informatics at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, VP of Engineering at PatientsLikeMe, Chief Informatics Officer at Claritas Genomics, and Consulting Architect at Philips Innovation Lab in Cambridge, MA. She teaches CS 783 – Enterprise Architecture.
