Jos Purvis is a security architect with Fastly, specializing in TLS engineering, software supply chain, and serverless computing products; his past work included technical architecture for Cisco in TLS trust and PKI. The author of a SANS guide on Linux security and an industry standard on intellectual property protection in PCB manufacturing, he currently serves as a representative for Fastly to the CA/Browser Forum, and the chair of the Forum Infrastructure Subcommittee. In addition to teaching at Boston, he has taught classes in cryptography engineering at NC State and in security audit and assessment at UNC-Chapel Hill. Over his 25 years in IT security, he has worked in intrusion detection, network and systems security, and risk audit. He earned his MS-CIS with a concentration in Security from Boston in 2012.
