Jon graduated from Boston University, MS in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in health informatics, and received the Metropolitan College Award for Excellence in Graduate Study. He also graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Pharmacy.
Jon has been practicing pharmacy for over 20 years in several venues including nuclear pharmacies, and a hospital pharmacy. These include Wake Forest University Medical Center, the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Richmond University Medical Center. He has collaborated with researchers at Boston University to develop the Antidote Project, which includes an educational implementation of a clinical decision support system to assist in dose and treatment recommendations for poisoning. After working with Boston University he worked in clinical informatics for an east coast hospital organization – AHS. Then later, moved to the west coast and is currently working in clinical informatics for Providence Saint Joseph Health.
