Dr. Hongsheng Wu attained his M.S. in Math and Computer Science from Ohio University in 2001, followed by an M.A. in Biostatistics from Boston University in 2005, and culminating with a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from Boston University in 2009.

 

In addition to his role at Babson College as an Associate Teaching Professor, Dr. Wu currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Boston University Metropolitan College.

 

Dr. Wu’s diverse research pursuits encompass clinical trials, health economics, genetics, and business analytics. Notably, he played a pivotal role as the lead statistician in major multicenter trials, including a recently concluded study comparing two effective therapies aimed at reducing serum uric acid levels to prevent recurring gout attacks. His scholarly contributions have found a place in esteemed peer-reviewed journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine, New England Journal of Medicine Evidence, JAMA Psychiatry, and Nature Communications.
