Dr. Mehrdad Nourai earned his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, Lowell Massachusetts in 2018, an M.S. degree in Computer Science from Boston University, and a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, Boston Massachusetts.
Dr. Nourai has over three decades of professional experience in computer industry and academics. His industry experience consists of architect, design, and development of software for all kinds of computer systems including embedded systems and systems with standard, proprietary, and real-time operating systems. His academic experience consists of teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in both Computer Science and Computer Information Systems at Department of Computer Science, Metropolitan College, Boston University since 2000.
Dr. Nourai has published several publications to the scientific community in the areas of computer networks and cybersecurity. His research and areas of interests include Computer Networks and Security, Data Communications, Human Information Interaction, Operating Systems, Computer Languages, Database, and Mobile Applications Development.
