Adam Arakelian will jump into specifics about the technologies that help streamline concepts around continuous integration and deployment using concepts like microservices architectures, facilitated through containers using Docker, storing code in GitHub, building through Jenkins and being able to deploy and manage them through AWS ECS. He will walk through an engineering life cycle built on-top of these concepts.
Adam Arakelian currently works at Dell EMC as a Director of Engineering in charge of contributing to a multibillion dollar product line as well as moving a 5K+ engineering organization forward using DevOps. He has been in the technology industry for over 20 years and has been teaching at Boston University for just over 13 years as a part-time lecturer. He has built many products and systems as well as his own organization and run many large product and development groups. His area of expertise is in the integration of technology with business to drive revenue profitability and help businesses leverage technology to deliver business value efficiently, effectively and with the highest quality possible.
