Salesforce Consultant

New England International Donors (NEID) is a nonprofit looking for an energetic, inquisitive, and creative systems thinker to join our team. This Consultant will adapt the NonProfit Success Pack to meet the specific needs of NEID data management, reporting, and workflow functions. The Consultant will need to customize Salesforce without employing any additional coding to keep the system manageable for staff long after the project is completed. This is a short-term project, requiring about 30-40 hours of work. Compensation will be $100 – $175/hour, based on experience.

Required Technical Knowledge/Skills

Essential Functions:

Salesforce Customization
• Create custom objects and fields
• Arrange page layouts, dashboards, and work flows for ease and accessibility of staff users
• Integrate QuickBooks, Constant Contact, Gmail, and Eventbrite

Data Import
• Import data from multiple records and reconcile with each other

Staff Training
• Train staff members to use Salesforce to meet the needs of their position
• Write guideline documents for staff to conduct future database management and maintain consistency of data and reporting

Key Qualifications

Preparation, Knowledge, Previous Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree completed;
• Preference for two plus years of relevant work experience or the equivalent;
• Expertise in Salesforce development
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience, Nonprofit Success Pack app, and integrations

Skills, Abilities, Competencies:
• Able to take initiative, be resourceful, and problem solve independently
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, organize and manage projects with multiple components, and implement complex activities;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Be poised, welcoming, and articulate in interactions with other staff
• Familiarity with the functions of small nonprofits
