Masters Computer Science
All of our MS in CS degrees require only eight graduate-level courses. We currently offer three different MS in CS degrees:
- General MS
- MS with Specialization in Cyber Security
- MS with Specialization in Data-Centric Computing
All three of our MS in CS degrees require students to complete a core group of classes called breadth requirements.
Our general MS in CS degree is designed to give students a high level of flexibility when choosing their studies, whereas our two specializations offer a more structured program for students who plan to enter the industry in a specific subfield of computer science.
While not required, MS candidates may complete a master’s project or thesis. Projects are carried out with the approval of, and under the supervision of, a faculty member. A master’s project can be expanded into a master’s thesis, which requires two faculty readers.
