“Leaders in rehabilitation research and practice recognize the critical importance of implementing evidence into practice and de-implementing sub-optimal practices. However, altering established care processes and delivery is complex and challenging. This year’s Institute focuses on implementation science to help build knowledge, skills and capacity to make meaningful changes to improve quality and value of care.”

– Linda Resnik, PT, PhD, Director, CoHSTAR

CoHSTAR 2020 Implementation Science Institute attendees will:

  • Understand how to use implementation science principles to become an effective change maker
  • Describe the role of implementation science in creating a learning health care system
  • Use principles of implementation science by learning from leaders in the field.
    • Researchers: learn new frameworks and research designs to apply in the emerging field.
    • Clinicians: learn how to use implementation science to drive evidence-based practices into your organization.
