Giving Day 2023: Thank You!
The Classical Studies department would like to say thank you to everyone who participated in this years Giving Day!
Our department had our best ever Giving Day. We placed FIRST among all departments in the College of Arts and Sciences in the amount of revenue raised, and SECOND in the number of donors. This was a clear and strong signal that our department, and the teaching of Latin and Ancient and Modern Greek, enjoys wide and strong support among our friends, colleagues, and alumni. We don’t take your support for granted.
To all who gave, or who told their friends and family about the campaign, thank you so much. One hundred percent of the funds raised will go back into funding our Undergraduate Classics Association, our career planning and networking events, graduate student travel and professional development, and our departmental awards. Your help continues to ensure that Classics remains a vibrant, exciting, and growing department in the College of Arts and Sciences.
