  • Ends: 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 22, 2025
This lecture introduces students to the basics of data visualization using a discrimination dataset as a case study. We'll walk through essential exploratory data analysis techniques that reveal how data can be effectively displayed and interpreted. Students will learn practical visualization methods while discovering how different approaches to the same data can yield unexpected insights. By the end of the class, students will understand why visualizing data is a critical first step in any data science project.
