Xinyi Hu is a Ph.D. student in Computing & Data Sciences at Boston University. Her research focuses on machine learning, reinforcement learning, multi-agent systems, and sequential decision-making, with particular interests in bandit problems and efficient exploration. She applies these methods to challenges in sustainability, healthcare, and scientific discovery. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Psychology from Tufts University.
