Xiaoying Zeng

Xiaoying joined the Faculty of Computing and Data Sciences as a Learning Facilitator in February 2025.  She has four years of research experience in mathematics and data science, with a focus on advanced statistical modeling and machine learning techniques. She has worked in higher education as a part-time Graduate Research Assistant and later as a full-time Visiting Researcher at Boston University. With a strong understanding of complex machine learning models, she not only applies existing methodologies to real-world applications but also develops innovative techniques to address practical challenges. Her academic background includes an undergraduate degree in Mathematics Teacher Education and a master’s degree in data science from Boston University, complemented by hands-on teaching experience in mathematics and AI applications in healthcare.
