Suzanne Tran

Suzanne Tran joined the Faculty of Computing & Data Sciences team in August 2026 as the Student Success Specialist. In this role, she provides guidance on academic interests and goals and helps online students access and navigate the resources needed to successfully complete their degree programs. She also plans and executes events and programs that foster community and engagement.

Prior to joining CDS, Suzanne served as the Senior Staff Assistant in Boston University’s Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences, where she supported faculty, staff, and students while coordinating student-facing services and departmental operations. She is a collaborative higher education professional with over four years of experience supporting academic programs, student success, and administrative operations.

Born and raised in Hawai’i, Suzanne values community and genuine connection, bringing a thoughtful, approachable, and people-centered perspective to her work. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Saint Louis University and is passionate about fostering inclusive learning environments, promoting student belonging, and supporting the success of diverse student communities.

Outside of work, Suzanne enjoys making coffee, cooking, discovering new restaurants and cafes, and exploring everything Boston has to offer. She is excited to meet and learn from others!
