Kevin Chan is a Ph.D. candidate advised by Professor Elizabeth Barnes in Boston University's Faculty of Computing and Data Sciences. His research focuses on machine learning-based climate and weather models, with particular interest in how they learn, how their performance can improve, and how they can be operationalized. He holds a B.S. in Statistics & Data Science from Yale, where he studied the intersection of environmental science and public health.
