Karina Palos
Program Operations Coordinator
Karina Palos joined BU Spark! in March 2026 as the Program Operations Coordinator, a unit within Boston University's Faculty of Computing & Data Sciences. In this role, she supports the day-to-day operations of Spark!'s experiential learning programs — including academic courses, external partnerships, event planning, and supervision of student employees. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and Public Relations from Goshen College.
Prior to joining BU, Karina worked in higher education and nonprofit settings supporting students through academic advising, educational coaching, and program administration. Her background in social work informs her empathetic and collaborative approach, and she has a particular passion for helping people navigate new environments and find their footing. Outside of work, Karina is a competitive ultimate frisbee player.
