Indrajit Kalita is a postdoctoral researcher at CDS. His current focus involves crafting precise rainfall prediction models through deep learning techniques. Before this, he held a postdoctoral research position at CYENS - Centre of Excellence in Cyprus, delving into Earth's dynamics and climate change utilizing advanced imagery and deep learning. With a Ph.D. earned from the IIIT Guwahati, his research focuses on exploring shifts in the environment across both time and space through remote sensing data.
