Sydney Friedman, Ph.D.

Sydney Friedman (she/her) is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Boston University Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CARD). Before joining CARD, she earned her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Arizona and completed her predoctoral psychology internship at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. She has experience providing treatment for a range of anxiety, mood, and OCD-related disorders, as well as working with individuals facing grief and loss. She has training and experience in the delivery of evidence-based treatments with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Her therapeutic approach is patient-centered and collaborative.
