Ways to Give
Join our cause!
The Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders at Boston University relies heavily on external support to further treatment advances for patients suffering with anxiety and related disorders. Our appreciation reaches far and wide to those who join our mission in enhancing the quality of life for patients, family and friends of those whose lives cannot reach their full potential because of severe anxiety, depression or related emotional disorders without clinical intervention. We recognize the impact of these economic hard times, yet we continue to offer sliding scale fees to those patients presenting with diagnoses we treat. These diagnoses include: panic disorder, social phobia , specific phobia, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, and depression. Your support plays a crucial role in our efforts to treat all patients regardless of insurance coverage or ability to pay. Please join our team with your contribution today.
New and effective treatments for panic disorder, agoraphobia, generalized anxiety disorder and social anxiety disorder have been developed at CARD. Current research projects include: Classification of Anxiety and Mood Disorders, a group treatment for prolong grief, a study for the treatment of social anxiety in a group setting, and a study of biomarkers related to individual outcomes in exposure therapy.
Your contribution to our research efforts would be invaluable in supporting such goals as: creative new ideas by our young clinical scientists that require seed money; stipend support for young clinical scientists just beginning their careers; travel support for students, trainees, and faculty to attend meeting and the clinics and labs of other leading investigators.
