Dr. Pincus is the Director of the Child and Adolescent Fear and Anxiety Treatment Program at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders and is the CAS Feld Family Professor of Teaching Excellence at Boston University.  Her primary research interests include the assessment and treatment of children’s fears and anxieties, and the development of new treatments for children and adolescents with anxiety disorders.  Her other areas of research include children’s coping with everyday stress, and risk and resilience factors affecting the development of child psychopathology.  Dr. Pincus’ most recent research focuses on novel ways to implement evidence based treatments for child anxiety in community settings, such as schools and pediatric health care centers
