I am Ethan Bair, a first year Ph.D. student working with BU Department of Astronomy. I work with Dr. Merav Opher on global simulations of the heliosphere as a part of the SHIELD DRIVE Science Center. I am currently studying hot electrons in the outer heliosphere. I received my B.S. in Engineering Physics from Cornell University in 2020 and my M.Eng. in Engineering Physics from Cornell in 2021. Outside of research, I am an archer, a strategy gamer, and a D&D enthusiast.
