YouSpeak: Weighing In on 2016
Students on what they’ll remember most about the past year
With 2016 in the rearview mirror, we’ve kick off a new semester and a new year. But who can forget the most tumultuous presidential campaign in modern American history, the historic decision by Great Britain to exit the European Union, or the deaths of David Bowie, Prince, and George Michael? Those stories and many more made for a 12 months jam-packed with news.
Before we plunge too deeply into 2017, we asked students to take a look back at the past year and share their impressions with us. So this week’s “YouSpeak” asks: “What will you remember about 2016?”
“YouSpeak” typically appears on Mondays. If you have a suggestion for a topic, leave it in the Comment section below.
