Decorate your room so you won’t feel homesick, but make it a point not to spend too much time there. Wash your clothes every two weeks. Be sure to visit your professors during office hours. And take the T as far as it goes to really explore this city that will be home for the next four years.
These are just some of the suggestions that BU’s most recent graduates have left for the Class of 2020.
Each May, BU Today reaches out to graduating seniors and asks them to share some pointers with entering freshmen—things they wish they had done differently, or things they did that enhanced their BU experience. So just before donning their caps and gowns, a few of them sat down and reflected on their college careers and shared their recipe for how you can get the most out of your time here.
So welcome, new Terriers, and best of luck as you begin this exciting chapter of your lives.
