Berklee Struts
This time, education students are front and center

Berklee College of Music, BU’s lively neighbor to the east, often showcases performance students and faculty. Tonight, December 14, it’s music education students who take over the stage at the David Friend Recital Hall for a free concert, Those Who Can Teach: Perform!
The concert happens once a semester and is a big night for Berklee’s education students, a way to connect performance talent with teaching skills. Some of those showcased have taken semesters abroad and incorporate world music and unusual instruments in their performing and teaching.
Those Who Can Teach: Perform! starts at 7:30 p.m. at Berklee’s David Friend Recital Hall, 971 Boylston St., near the Hynes Convention Center T stop on the Green Line; it is free and open to the public. More information about this and other Berklee events is available here.
