Exploring a River at Risk
New IMAX film at Boston’s Museum of Science takes viewers to the Grand Canyon

Join environmentalist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and anthropologist and author Wade Davis, along with their daughters, on a trip down the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon. An account of their journey, including a look at how human development threatens the Earth’s water resources, is the latest IMAX epic at Boston’s Museum of Science. Screenings of Grand Canyon Adventure: River at Risk began this week and will continue until September 8. Robert Redford narrates, and the Dave Matthews Band provides the soundtrack.
Today’s showings are at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m., and 8 p.m. Tickets cost $9 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $7 for children. Buy them online here.
