A Behind-the-Scenes Look at Ballet
Boston Ballet comes to BU for a panel discussion and performance

The Boston Ballet will pirouette and jetté at BU tonight in Dance Spotlight: An Evening with the Boston Ballet. The event will provide a free sneak preview of Boston Ballet’s upcoming performance of Cinderella.
Dance Spotlight is the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center’s preview of ballets currently in rehearsal. Tonight’s event will include a panel discussion by Boston Ballet’s choreographers and artistic staff about the company and its creative processes, as well as Boston Ballet dancers performing selections from Cinderella.
Founded in 1963, Boston Ballet is one of the leading dance companies in North America. Under the leadership of artistic director Mikko Nissinen, the company has more than 45 dancers and performs a wide variety of works, ranging from full-length story ballets to new works by more recent choreographers. The company will perform Cinderella October 16 to 26 at the Wang Theatre.The Boston Ballet extends a special ticket offer to the BU community for the performances.
Dance Spotlight: An Evening with the Boston Ballet takes place Wednesday, October 1, at the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Ave. It is free and begins at 7 p.m. For more information, click here.
