Belle Époque delivers for Make-a-Wish

The Belle Époque Fashion Show brought cutting-edge style to the BU campus and cash to the Make-a-Wish Foundation, which supports children with life-threatening medical conditions. Admission to the show, held at the Photonics Center on Friday, March 2, raised more than $1,500, and hundreds more came from the auction of such things as cosmetics, a BU hockey jersey signed by the entire team, a lunch date with Gina Boswell (SMG’84), chief operating officer of Avon Products, and a tambourine autographed by members of The Who. The event, presented by the BU Media and Entertainment Club and the BU Fashion and Retail Association, showed the collections of Sam Mendoza (COM’08), Stephanie Brunneman (COM’08), Prisca Milliance, an SMG Pardee Library technician, and Muze Clothing.
