Painter Nedret Andre takes viewers on a fantasy voyage along ancient trade routes in his exhibition Turkish Art Exhibit II: Silk Road by Nedret Andre.
Andre combines colorful narrative from Turkey, his cultural homeland, and London, his place of birth. His mixture of cultural influences creates art with diverse imagery.
Andre’s work is on display through December 14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Howard Thurman Center, in the George Sherman Union, 775 Commonwealth Ave. Admission is free.
