The Castle, a Tudor revival mansion, was built in 1905 by gothic author and businessman William Lindsay.
The Castle, a Tudor revival mansion built in 1905 by gothic author and Boston businessman William Lindsay, was acquired by BU in 1939. BU’s fourth president, Daniel Marsh, and his family moved into the mansion and used it for entertaining. Today BU’s Office of Conference Services operates the Castle.
