Men’s Soccer

September 6, 2005
Twitter Facebook

Continuning the 2005 season, the Boston University men’s soccer team has nothing but possibilities. Coming off an NCAA tournament run that represented its best post-season finish in 10 years, the 2005 team has the potential to go further than the Terriers have ever gone before.

With a 10-8-3 overall record in 2004, in addition to both the America East regular-season and tournament titles and a trip to the second round of the NCAA tournament, the Terriers are poised for success this season with a roster that includes last season’s top-three scorers, eight returning starters and the nation’s 13th-ranked recruiting class.

Led by Head Coach Neil Roberts, who will vie for his 21st consecutive winning season with the Terriers, a streak only surpassed by six other NCAA Division I programs, sophomore Roland Erlichman should again be a scoring threat for BU after leading last year’s squad with nine goals and five assists. Along with Erlichman, senior Sedrick Chin will provide offensive prowess up front after an 18-point performance last year, and junior captain Chad Comroe returns after starting in net 16 times last season.
