Dawn Walls-Thumma

Humanities Teacher, Coventry Village School

Dawn Walls-Thumma is a National Board Certified Teacher who teaches middle-grades humanities at a small school in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. She is an independent scholar whose recent work has appeared in the Journal of Tolkien Research, Transformative Works and Cultures, Mythprint, and the books Fandom: The Next Generation, Not the Fellowship: Dragons Welcome, and Tolkien and Diversity. Her passions as a teacher include using democratic principles in the classroom and, of course, teaching about Africa.
