Chris Conz and Christina Balch: Research and Fieldwork in Lesotho
Chris Conz and Christina Balch have published this art historical essay after a Fulbright year at the University of the Free State in South Africa. Both served as Peace Corps volunteers in Lesotho and visited their site in Qacha’s Nek district in Lesotho. Chris received his Ph.D. in History from Boston University. He has taught at Tufts University and was a post-doctoral fellow at the Tufts School of Nutrition. He currently is Visiting Assistant Professor of History at the College of the Holy Cross and author of Environment, Knowledge, and Injustice in Lesotho: The Poverty of Progress (Suffolk, UK: James Currey, 2024).
