Clare Fitzgerald

Clare Fitzgerald is the Associate Director for the Undergraduate Pathways Programs. Ms. Fitzgerald works with 950+ undergraduate students across BU’s schools and colleges, who come to campus via Boston University’s partnerships with school districts and community-based organizations with a college access focus, to bring underrepresented students to enroll in and thrive at BU. Ms. Fitzgerald recruits, trains, and supports over 140 faculty and staff mentors who work directly with these students.

Before moving into her current role, Ms. Fitzgerald served as the Undergraduate Program Manager at BU Wheelock College Access & Student Success. Prior to that, Ms. Fitzgerald was the Executive Assistant to the Vice President and Associate Provost for Enrollment & Student Administration at BU. There, she served as the Vice President’s Chief of Staff, managing initiatives in admissions, retention, and engagement. Ms. Fitzgerald has been a mentor in the Boston Public Schools Community Service Program since 2014.

Ms. Fitzgerald has also worked at local nonprofit organizations and spent a few years in retail management.
