Become a Mentor
Mentors have a tremendous impact and are part of the reason the undergraduate pathways programs retain and graduate scholars at rates higher than the University average. All of the Undergraduate pathways programs involve a faculty or staff mentor. These mentors volunteer time during their workday to share their experiences and perspectives with undergraduates.
Mentors are recruited on a rolling basis during the spring semester. They must be available for a half-day training during the summer prior to the academic year they intend to begin mentoring. Please complete the Undergraduate Pathways Programs Mentoring Application or reach out to Clare Fitzgerald.
Mentor Stories

– Marisa Milanese, CAS Writing Program, Hayden Mentor
“Everyone at some point asks themselves, ‘What’s the point of my professional life? What’s the real value of what I’m doing?’ Being a mentor has helped me answer those questions.”
