Practicum Education

• SSW PE 800: Integrative Practicum Seminar
  Required for all students in the first 2 semesters of practicum placement. The focus of this seminar is professional development and the role of the social work intern in the agency. The seminar meets several times each semester. Instructor sets schedule. Attendance is required.
• SSW PE 801: Generalist Practicum Education 1
  Graduate Corequisite: SSW PE 800. Required of all Traditional Track students in their first semester of the generalist practicum placement.
• SSW PE 802: Generalist Practicum Education 2
  Graduate Corequisite: SSW PE 800. Required of all Traditional Track students in their second semester of the generalist practicum placement or all HSE students in the first semester of their practicum.
• SSW PE 803: Advanced Practicum Education 3
  Graduate Corequisite: SSW PE 800 for HSE and Advanced Standing students. Required of all students in their first semester of the advanced practicum placement.
• SSW PE 804: Advanced Practicum Education 4
  Graduate Corequisite: SSW PE 800 for HSE and Advanced Standing students. Required of all students in their second semester of the advanced practicum placement.
• SSW PE 805: Advanced Practicum Education 5
  Required of any student whose program plan requires a third semester of an advanced practicum placement.
• SSW PE 806: Advanced Practicum Education 6
  Required of any student whose program plan requires a fourth semester of an advanced practicum placement.
• SSW PE 807: Advanced Practicum Education 7
  Required of any student whose program plan requires a fifth semester of an advanced practicum placement.
• SSW PE 808: Advanced Practicum Education 8
  Required of any student whose program plan requires a sixth semester of an advanced practicum placement.
• SSW PE 809: Advanced Practicum Macro Supervision Seminar
  A required monthly seminar in support of macro students who are in advanced practicum placements with non-MSW-supervision. There are no readings or assignments.
