You can now search the entire database of course descriptions for classes taught at Boston University. This new site, open to the public, contains a full year of courses, beginning with the current semester and including the two upcoming ones. There are over 7,000 courses in the collection.
Both the course title and course description are searched for the keywords or phrases a user supplies. The application returns matches that contain all the words and phrases. You can search all three semesters or limit your search by semester. There is also an advanced search with additional features - search by college, etc.The search results include course ID, title, and description, with your search terms highlighted in yellow.
Results also include the number of credits for that course, links to prerequisite courses, and a link to the schedule for that course, if available.
This new service augments the University Class Schedule search, long available through the Student Link.
